Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. As a child, she was inspired by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of Tangos. She also loves operas as well as any drama. After singing with her mom and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. When she was a student, as well as a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choirs. After moving into the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she moved to southern California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. The passion and love she has for art, music, and performing keep her engaged with a variety of local initiatives as a teacher and performer. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of The Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing traditional Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
